Financial Aid

Financial Aid, Individual Sponsorship & Fundraising

PSVC is committed to giving each individual the opportunity to excel in the sport of volleyball.  We understand that volleyball programs are expensive and believe that no deserving athlete should be deprived the benefits of junior club volleyball for lack of funds.  Families have several options to help offset the cost of volleyball:  Fundraising, Sponsorship and Financial Aid.

Individual Sponsorship

Players and parents  have the opportunity to reach out to family, friends and businesses to seek sponsorship and raise funds.   Players are encouraged to secure individual and corporate sponsors.  When a player secures a sponsor, the players club dues account is credited for 100% of the funds collected.  PSVC has developed a letter/form that players and families can use to solicit sponsors.  Players who have accepted a position on a PSVC team can contact us to receive a copy of the sponsorship request letter.  As a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization all appropriate donations are tax deductible.

Team Fundraising

Teams may organize team fundraisers such as car washes or other group activities. Teams must submit their idea and obtain authorization from both the Club Directors and Coach, prior to the event, to make sure Club guidelines are followed.  Participation in any fund raising activity is strictly voluntary.  Only accounts for those players who participate in a fundraiser will be credited their prorated fund amount.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid requests will not be a part of the decision making process with regard to team offers. If a player is offered a spot on a PSVC team.  We will work with the family as best as we can in order to make this viable financially for both the family and the club.  There is a limited amount of financial aid funds available each year.  This financial aid comes from sponsor donations, not fees from other players.  The PSVC Financial Aid Committee will distribute funds to as many eligible families as possible.  Financial Aid is available for Club dues only.  Travel fees (hotel, food, etc.) are not eligible for aid.

Financial aid funds will be applied directly to the recipients’ club dues, however, the parent/player is responsible for making the initial deposit upon team acceptance in accordance with the Player/Parent Handbook, Club Policies and Contract.  All remaining dues are the responsibility of the player/parent.  To request financial support please fill out the form below.  Please note: a financial review may be required.
