Club volleyball is a major investment in your child’s life. Perhaps one of the most satisfying outcomes is to see your child play at the college level. No junior’s club program is complete without informing both players and parents about the important topic of college recruiting. We can help guide you to the right school and will help make the recruiting process much easier with recruiting tools and information on how to promote yourself.
We will work hard for each and every one of our athletes whose goal is to continue their athletic career to the next level. Please join us as we hope to be able to help you further your game and move on to the next phase of your career.
We invite college coaches and recruiters to contact us about any of our players. Simply email Janine Mabe, Club Director @ [email protected] with any requests for information.
Recruiting Support
The coaches and staff at PSVC are committed to ensuring that our players have the necessary resources to promote themselves to college coaches. The player and the parent have the primary responsibility for driving the recruiting process. PSVC will assist with the recruitment process by offering the following:
- General Information: We will list relevant recruiting links with information for all levels of play. It is the responsibility of the player and parent to access this information and use it to guide the player's recruitment.
- Team entry into National Qualifier tournaments and other large events for our higher level teams. These tournaments are popular with college coaches as they can observe many players in one location.
- Help contacting college coaches. The Club Director, Recruiting Coordinator, and club coaches have developed relationships with college coaches over the years and will contact coaches on your behalf.
- Recruiting advice. If a player or parent has recruiting questions, we can offer advice or help them find the answer.
The most important thing is to consider your academic interest and be realistic about your skill level and if it matches the level needed to play at your preferred college . Your coaches can help you discern what level (DI, DII, DIII, etc.) and type of schools to target during the recruiting process based on your skill level.
Be sure to view the information provided below so you can start the recruiting process.
