Club volleyball is a major investment in your child’s life. Perhaps one of the most satisfying outcomes is to see your child play at the college level. No junior’s club program is complete without informing both players and parents about the important topic of college recruiting. We can help guide you to the right school and will help make the recruiting process much easier with recruiting tools and information on how to promote yourself.

We will work hard for each and every one of our athletes whose goal is to continue their athletic career to the next level. Please join us as we hope to be able to help you further your game and move on to the next phase of your career.

Recruiting Services

The coaches and staff at PSVC are committed to helping you achieve your volleyball recruiting goals. We ensure that our players have the necessary resources to promote themselves to college coaches. As a part of a 15-18U PSVC team, you have access to our recruiting services, which include:

Recruiting advice. Information about and answers to questions regarding the recruiting process
Individualized attention for your recruiting journey
Help in navigating the recruiting timeline (what you should be doing and when)
Advice on how to maximize your market value
Act as a liaison between the athlete/family and college coaches. The Club Director, Recruiting Liaison, and club coaches have developed relationships with college coaches over the years and will contact coaches on your behalf.
Help in gaining a realistic perspective about your skill level and the type of schools you should be pursuing for college playing opportunities. Your coaches can help you discern what level (DI, DII, DIII, etc.) and type of schools to target during the recruiting process based.

On this page you will find links and other documents to assist parents, and players with next steps in trying to be recruited by a college. The PSVC Recruiting Info Packet is a timeline to help our athletes and their parents to better understand the recruiting process.

There are so many minor details for athletes to know about the recruiting process that thousands will never know. Recruiting classes are typically 500-600 players per year. Most recruiting is finished by April each year. Many coaches attending at Qualifier and National level tournaments, and Recruiting Showcases are looking at Juniors and Sophomores, as well as standout Freshman. No matter what any one person, club or organization claims, nobody can guarantee you or your child an athletic scholarship.

PSVC and our Recruiting Staff will provide guidance for players who communicate their intent to play in college, but players must own this process. Players along with their parents have to do everything in their power to make dreams a reality.
