2024-25 Travel Season

ONLINE REGISTRATION is now closed but walk-up's are welcome

We are excited that you are interested in trying out with PSVC for the 2024-25 season. We recognize that tryouts can be stressful. While we can’t eliminate all of the stress, we will make every effort to ensure that your PSVC tryout experience is pressure-free.

Palmetto Strikers Tryout Philosophy

First and foremost PSVC’s tryouts are open to all athletes, free from preferential treatment, and void of pre-selected roster positions.   We take tryouts very seriously. We pledge to conduct tryouts professionally and with integrity.  We do not give preferential treatment to any individual or promise team placement prior to tryouts.  Everyone is considered in the process.  We are a strong proponent for and adhere to all the guidelines set forth by the Palmetto Region of USA Volleyball.  We will contact you directly, by email, about your tryout results.   All athletes are required to earn their spot within the club through participating in the tryout and selection process.  Athletes are offered a position to play with Palmetto Strikers based on their performance at tryouts, skills demonstrated, coachabiltiy and attitude. 

What you can expect from the PSVC staff and coaches is the utmost level of professionalism, integrity, and objectivity while working with each athlete throughout the selection process.

PSVC’s multiple-session format gives our coaching staff the opportunity to evaluate and assess talent within an environment of teaching, encouragement, and personal interaction for each aspiring athlete. Some of the key elements our coaches will consider during the tryout process will include:

Finally, PSVC strives to provide a positive, energy-filled, and purposeful tryout for each prospective athlete. You are evaluating us as much as we’re watching you. You will get the BEST from our coaches as they bring out the BEST within you.  

Anticipated Travel Teams Per Age Group
Number of teams in any division is subject to change (increase or decrease) based on tryout registration and player interest.
