PSVC Open Gym Sessions provide an opportunity for athletes within their age group who desire to sharpen or hone their skills prior to tryouts. It allows lots of touches on the ball in a fun and fast-paced environment. The sessions are supervised by the head and assistant coaches of the 15U and 16U teams. Open Gyms also offer athletes the opportunity to meet the coaches and observe their coaching style prior to tryouts. Players will not complete drills, but will receive feedback and skill correction during game play and scrimmages.
For those not familiar with Palmetto Strikers, and interested in learning more about the club, open gyms are an opportunity to learn more about the program while getting to know the coaching staff and allowing PSVC coaches to get to know you better. Parents are welcome to attend and a PSVC Club Director will be on hand to answer questions.
