REGISTRATION OPENS ON MARCH 5TH
Little Strikers is the perfect camp for all young volleyball players. The program is co-ed and is designed as an introduction to volleyball for players in grades 2nd - 5th. Players will learn proper technique for all essential volleyball skills while participating in fun activities and games. This program will help develop agility, foot work, eye/hand coordination, and body control through volleyball movements and skills. Focus is on FUNdamentals with high involvement for more a more enjoyable experience and opportunity to improve. Players will be using Volley Light balls.
For young players small group court games provide many opportunities for improvement and fun! Being constantly involved helps players to stay engaged, have fun there are more chances to make big improvements in the course of 4 days of the camp. The end of each day, players will work in in small groups (2-on-2 or 3-on-3) on one-third of the court or 4-on-4 on a half-court games for approximately 30-45 minutes. Our goal is not only to teach each player, but to have them enjoy volleyball and fall in love with the sport.
Our coaching philosophy in the camp is based on positive reinforcement (we want to catch the players doing things right and encourage them to keep learning and giving your best effort). Along with volleyball skills and game understanding we use opportunities to teach about: being a great teammate, showing great sportsmanship, being coachable, giving your best each time.
Equipment Requirements: All players should wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes that allow movement such as shorts, a T-shirt, and tennis shoes that tie. Players should NOT wear shorts with zippers, spaghetti strap shirts, sandals, flip-flops, or slip-on shoes. Athletes with longer hair should wear it pulled back. Players MUST bring a full water bottle with their name clearly labeled. Small snack like a granola bar, gold fish, or similar is recommended but not required.
All sessions are Co-Ed.

Cancellation prior to May 15th will receive full refund, May 16th-June 1st 50% refund, June 1st or later there will be no refund, regardless of reason.
